February: This is the month of the Carnival, celebrated in Tarifa, Algeciras, S.Roque and La Linea with costumes, ridings, balls and parades.

March-April: Months of Semana Santa. Easter Procession is worth seeing.

May 15.th: Fair of Tahivilla to honour St.Isidro.

June: The 25.th in Tarifa (Facinas) there is the Fiesta of St.John.

August: First two weeks: National Festival of Folk Music. The 15.th: Fair of Facinas.

September: Fiestas de la Virgen de la Luz, with important romería at the Sanctuary on the last week. These are the real festivities of Tarifa. They start on the first Sunday of September literally till the second non stop. Party all night long and typical meals during the day with traditional outfits and horse parades in true Spanish style.
