Feast of San Anton
Once a year in January the citizens from different districts from Jaén compete who will have the best and biggest bonfire - “lumbres”. In order to make this fire usually besides trees and branches, people’s old possessions and junk that are no longed in use are being burnt.

San Lucas Fair
This fair has its origins in the times of Lord Constable Lucas Iranzo when the agricultural and livestock fair was held. Today this fair is one of the biggest and most well known fairs in this region and attracts many world class music performers, singers, sport athletes and bullfighters. This fair takes place in October.

Fair for the Divina Pastora
One of the most religious events in Jaén, takes place on the first Sunday of September. The Sunday mass also known as Dawn “Alborada” Mass is celebrated in the San Ildefonso church.
