Salobreña

Salobreña is a small town, located in the heart of Costa Tropical on an hour’s from Malaga airport and it is very close to most of the important places of interest in this region. It is surrounded by tropical fields with sugar cane, mangoes, and custard apples.

With its population of 10,500 Salobreña is a nice town with a labyrinth of small, narrow, cobbled street leading up to the old castle. There are plenty little bars that offer refreshments and the typical favorite tapas. There is a commercial center on the bottom of the town where all the major shops, supermarkets, bank, a civic theater, and a town hall are located. The long beach below the town stretches all the way to the port of Motril.
