Punta Umbría is a town with a long beach, in the Province of Huelva, during summer it’s the most popular place and the closest beach to Huelva City.

Don’t miss the 15m high Torre de la Umbría a watch tower built in 1614 to defend the city from North Africans pirats. If the pirats were cruising along the coast, a fire would be lit on top of the tower to send out a warning signal.
