Fuengirola

Fuengirola is a town of the province of Málaga located on the Costa del Sol, in the Andalusian region of Spain.

Fuengirola used to be a fishing village, but nowadays it is a cosmopolitan and tourism oriented city. This town is a pleasant and sunny place, which attracts a large number of Spanish tourists and at the same time it is never overlooked by foreign visitors.

Of the approximately 60,000 inhabitants registered in the municipality, 25% come from other countries, mainly European (United Kingdom, Ireland, Finland and Sweden, among others), and also from Morocco and Argentina.

Fuengirola's main attractions are the archaeological sites of Torreblanca del Sol, Sohail Castle and its parish churches. It’s a very rich historical center seaside and its beaches and marina provide the ideal place for a relaxing, enjoyable holiday.
