Costa Tropical
Most of the cities on Costa Tropical have a subtropical climate.
Almuñecar is the capital of Costa Tropical and is considered to be the most important resort in this region. It was founded by the Phoenicians that once settled on this place because of its good climate. Most of the monuments that separate Almuñecar from other towns are the historical buildings that were built during the significant moments of the history of this town such as the San Miguel Castle and the Encarnacion Church.
Motril is situated in Andalusia between Malaga on the west and Almeria on the east. The beaches are long and wide and have fine sand, parking space, cleaning service, beach accessories rentals, etc. For the leisure time there are opportunities to visit attraction parks, such as an Aquapark, Science Park, Amusement Park and a mini Hollywood.
With its population of 10,500 Salobreña is a nice town with a labyrinth of small, narrow, cobbled street leading up to the old castle. It is only one hour from Malaga Airport. Because Salobreña is surrounded by mountains the weather doesn’t change rapidly or suddenly; the mountains protect the small town from extreme heat during the summer months and winds during the winder.
The Castillo is situated on the top of the hill of Salobreña and it is a fortified Arabic castle that attracts thousands of visitors every year because of the beautiful panoramic view of the town and its outskirts.
