Playa de Granada
Even though it is not a very wide beach this beach is very long. It has fine sand and has parking space, cleaning service, beach accessories rentals, etc.
Playa de Poniente
This is probably as one of the most crowded and lively beaches in Motril. It is over 2km long and has an average of 110 meters in width. Has fine dark sand.
Las Azucenas Beach
This is another big beach that has sand and small stones as surface. The main attraction on this beach is scuba diving. Because it is not completely developed most of its natural environment has been preserved.
Torrenueva Beach
This is one of the most urbanized beaches. There are many hotels and apartments located in this region therefore it is one of the preferred destinations among the tourists.

La Joya Beach
This beach with only 300 meters long it is one of the smaller beaches in this region. It doesn’t have any facilities or services and it is more natural beach with fine sand probably more suitable for the adventurous ones.
La Chucha Beach
This beach is almost 1km long and around 40 meters wide. There are limited facilities such as showers, waste bins and lifeguards. This beach is visited also but fishing enthusiasts. It has fine dark sand.
Carchuna Beach
This beach is over 3k long and around 40 meters wide. It has find dark sand and crystal clear waters and there are also many facilities for renting equipment, showers, lifeguards, etc.
Calahonda Beach
This medium size beach has been awarded with the Blue Flag which proves that this beach complies with the highest international standards for quality and cleanliness. It has dark sand and there are restroom, showers, waste baskets and cleaning services.
