Even though it is only 338 meters long this beach has all the important amenities that would help tourists have a relaxing time. It has a public path, life guards, local police, public restrooms, showers, public phone, and cleaning service.

Located near the Cotobro beach, El Muerto has fine brown sand and is smaller than Cotobro beach. It is just 228 meters long and width of 42 meters in average.

Situated close to the Marina del Este sports port on Punta de la Mona. With fine golden sands, and attractive bars and restaurants this beach offers everything the tourists need to relax and enjoy their vacation. On this beach there is also possibility to practice jet skiing and windsurfing.

Just over 1km long San Cristobal is a medium-sized beach resort with light-colored fine sand. It is situated west of Almuñecar and there are many bars and hotels like Hotel Bahia Tropical close by. Visitors can engage in their favorite sports while enjoying the spot s lively atmosphere and blue-flag certified cleanliness and quality of service.

Probably the most popular and most visited beach in Almuñecar, Puerta del Mar is located in the center of the town, near to the local shopping stores. It is 1140 meters long and has an average width of 50 meters. Its fine brown sand, calm waters and good services make it an excellent choice for family day on the beach.

This beach has various facilities such as bars, restaurants, scuba diving, rental of umbrellas and hammocks. Also in the middle of the beach there is a water sports center.

Even though this beach is only 80 meters long it offers all the services like any other beach: parking lot, rescue team, hammock and umbrella rentals, showers, etc. It has fine golden sand and it really deserves its name “little treasure” because it is one of the nicest and beautiful beach in Almuñecar.

This beach is not very popular among the tourists. It has small stones and gray send and offers facilities like parking, showers, umbrellas, hammocks, showers, etc. It is a nice place for completely relaxing and getting away from the crowd.

Long 226 meters with an average width of 30 meters, this beach offers parking and showers and has sand and small stones as surface.

This is another small beach with only 154 meters of length and 30 meters of width in average. It offers excellent services and facilities including parking, umbrellas and hammocks rentals and showers. The sea on this beach is usually calm and the beach has fine sand and small rocks.

Like most of the beaches in Almuñecar, Curumbico beach is another small beach with and average width of 24 meters. This beach doesn’t offer as many services and facilities like the other beaches. It is a quiet beach and an ideal place for those who want to relax and away the busy beaches.

This beach is not as famous and as popular as the other beaches in Almuñecar mainly because it is difficult to get to it. It has a small beach bar and sand and pebbles as surface. It is 157 meters long and in average 31 meters wide.
