Bailén
| Bailèn is a mall town located on the north-west from the center of Jaen province. Often the phrase “very noble and loyal city” is attributed to Bailen. Many roads that connect cities from central and north Spain to cities in Andalusia cross near Bailen. Ceramic and wine industries are the main industrial activities in this little Spanish town.
As many Spanish cities Bailén too has many beautiful and significant monuments. The parochial Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation is one of the most important architectonic heritages of this city. It is constructed in the 15th century in gothic style and it has been declared historical monument. Also important are the gothic hermitages of Our Lady of the Solitude from the 15th century, the 18th century baroque style hermitages “Jesús y de El Cristo” and many others.
