Ayamonte

Ayamonte is an attractive town located in the province of Huelva, Spain. Due to its proximity to Algarve, it is also a touristic resort of the Costa de la Luz. Since few years, a bridge links the spanish town of Ayamonte to the portuguese city of Vila Real de St Antonio.

The center of the city is a pedestrian zone and visitors can walk throught the old medieval district and discover historical buildings.

You can choose to explore the restaurants of La Plaza de la Laguna or you can decide to have a rest in the Paseo de la Ribera nearby the harbour.

Isla Canela is the main beach of Ayamonte, a wildlife reserve called Marismas de la Guadiana has been created several kilometers from the city. The coast of the luz is a worlwide spot for windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing.
